Book Tag

Michelle tagged me... My first inclination is to say that I don't have time since we've been so busy. But this woman has 3 kids, is pregnant with the fourth and has been sick. So if she can do it, I can :-)

Here are the rules:
1. Pick up the nearest book. (At least 123 pages long.)
2. Open to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence and post it.
4. Post the next three sentences.
5. Tag 5 other people.

Well the nearest book wasn't a "grown-up" book, but still fun for us old people to read :-) The girls got it for Christmas, and we read the whole thing cover-to-cover recently. I'm sure you've all read or at least heard of it - it's "Where The Sidewalk Ends" by Shel Silverstein... anyway, page 123 is a poem and it only has 6 sentences to it (there are several lines, but I'm being technical and counting the sentences). I'm just going to go ahead and post the whole thing:

Double-Tail Dog

Would you like to buy a dog with a tail at either end?
He is quite the strangest dog there is in town.
Though he's not too good at knowing
Just exactly where he's going,
He is very very good at sitting down.

He doesn't have a place to put a collar,
And I'll admit it's rather hard to lead him,
And he cannot hear you call
For he has no ears at all,
But it doesn't cost a single cent to feed him.

He cannot bite, he'll never bark or growl,
Just scratch him on his tails, he'll find it pleasing.
But you'll have to take him out
For twice as many walks,
And I'll bet that you can quickly guess the reason.

Well I broke rules 3 and 4, and now I'm going to break 5 too. I'm not going to tag anyone...if you want to do it, then do it and let me know!
